Coldwater Golf ends season with seventeenth place finish at D2 Regionals

AUGUSTA, MI. — The Coldwater Cardinal golf team had a rough day at the MHSAA Golf Regionals held at the Stonehedge North Golf Course in Augusta and hosted by Gull Lake on Tuesday, placing seventeenth out of 19 teams with a score of 377.


Richland Gull Lake won the regional title with a top score of 314. Also earning a top three finish and a ticket to the Division Two State fInals were Mattawan in second place with a 322 and Vicksburg in third with a 330.


Coldwater was led on the day by senior Jett Galloway who finished in twentieth place after carding a solid score of 84.



Also adding to the Cardinal effort was Kyle Sheppard tied for sixty-first place with a 93; Talan Eberts, tied for sixty-first place with a 93; Brady Arver in eighty-ninth place with a 107; and Rayce Johnson, in ninetieth place with a 108.
