MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: CITY GLASS

City Glass was founded in 1975 by Al Forrister and is now known as the largest glass specialist in Southern Michigan to fabricate in-house. 

In 2007, after 10-years in New York, Jim Forrister returned to Coldwater with his wife Deb and two girls, Sam and Sarah and purchased the business from his father, Al.  18 years later, Jim and his staff of six continue to grow, expand and provide outstanding service to residential, auto and commercial customers within a 100-mile radius.

This second-generation, family-owned business has built longstanding relationships in the community where they live, work, employ and give.  In fact, City Glass has given thousands back in goods and services throughout the community. 

Jim Forrister, who remembers helping around the shop at the age of 10, now fabricates over 1500 pieces of auto glass per year in addition to a full line of glass services.
